Championing the achievements of women in accountancy

International Women’s Day took place on Saturday 8 March, and was a great opportunity to celebrate the remarkable women in our firm and reflect on the progress made in the accounting profession, as well as the work that still needs to be done.

Recent data from Accountancy Age’s Top 50+50 report has revealed that while the number of firms with female leaders in the UK’s top 100 has dropped by 20 per cent, there has been an encouraging rise in firms with more than 40 per cent female partners.

The overall average across the top 100 firms sits at 24 per cent.

We are proud to be ahead of the curve. With 8 out of our 21 partners being women (38 per cent), we sit above the industry average.

This is a result of our commitment to creating a workplace where talent thrives, regardless of gender.

Diversity strengthens our business. We benefit from having a great mix of skills, experience, and perspectives across all levels, ensuring we continue to grow as a dynamic and forward-thinking firm.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrated the women at Monahans and all the trailblazers in our industry.
