Stepping up – Dulcimer raises thousands for Breast Cancer Now in charity walk

Swindon’s Dulcimer Thompson put her best foot forward this month as she took on the Pink Ribbon Walk, raising thousands for Breast Cancer Now.

The walk, which took place at Blenheim Palace, covered a gruelling 20 miles, testing both stamina and spirit against a picturesque yet demanding backdrop.

Dulcimer joined hundreds of others in the charity challenge, all walking in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.

“It was a beautiful day, and we completed the route in seven hours without losing any toenails or teammates,” said Dulcimer. “Thank you so much to everyone who shared, supported and sponsored us, we raised a total of £2,278.00!”

We’d like to congratulate Dulcimer on this wonderful achievement, and for raising so much money for such an important cause.
