Helen joined McGills in February 2019, which became part of Monahans in 2024. She is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with extensive experience advising owner-managed businesses on tax, accounting and business matters.

Helen works with a broad range of owner-managed businesses, helping clients navigate complex tax and accounting issues, including VAT, financial reporting, and personal and business taxation. Her advice is always practical, commercially focused and tailored to each client’s individual circumstances.

Helen enjoys working with businesses throughout the year, whether that’s resolving a technical tax issue, supporting financial reporting or helping owners think through the next step for their business. She focuses on finding practical, commercially sensible solutions rather than simply giving the technical answer.

She believes good advice should fit the individual business and the people behind it. Every client is different, so she adapts her approach to what they need, keeping discussions straightforward and focused on helping them move forward.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys spending time with her family, visiting her daughter on the south coast and walking Jeff, the family’s lively rescue dog, who keeps everyone on their toes.
