Iain joined Monahans as a Partner in 2008 after spending 17 years with PwC. He works with businesses of all sizes, from owner-managed companies to large corporate groups, and looks after some of Monahans’ largest clients.

Manufacturing and engineering businesses make up a significant part of Iain’s client portfolio. Alongside audit, he advises business owners on growth, funding, business structures, acquisitions, restructuring and international expansion, helping them balance today’s priorities with their longer-term plans.

His experience spans a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, education, digital services, retail, wholesale, construction and waste management.

Through Monahans, Sumer and the GGI global network, Iain is able to connect clients with specialist expertise, whether they are expanding overseas, planning investment, restructuring their business or preparing for a transaction.

One of the aspects of the role Iain finds most rewarding is working directly with business owners, understanding what drives their business and helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with growth.

Iain is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and an ICAEW Registered Auditor.

Away from work, Iain enjoys travelling and is looking forward to becoming a campervan owner.
