Robert began his career in accountancy in 1991 and joined Moore in 1997, becoming a partner in 2004. He joined Monahans in 2024 as part of the transition from Moore South West, bringing more than 30 years’ experience advising owner-managed businesses and healthcare professionals.

Robert works with a wide range of owner-managed businesses, with particular expertise in the healthcare sector. He enjoys helping business owners develop strategies that allow their businesses to work for them, rather than the other way around. His work regularly includes tax planning, remuneration strategies and practical advice that supports long-term business success.

Clients value Robert’s pragmatic, proactive approach and his ability to explain complex issues in clear, straightforward language. He focuses on finding practical solutions that are easy to understand and tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Robert enjoys helping clients make sense of an increasingly complex business and tax environment, and seeing the positive difference good advice can make to their businesses and future plans.

Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and a member of the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA).

Outside work, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, tackling DIY projects and fitting in a round of golf whenever he can.
