Sophie Clark

Senior Bookkeeper

Sophie began her accountancy career more than 11 years ago with a small practice in Chippenham before gaining experience with several other local firms. She then spent five years working in industry for a group of care companies, returning to practice when she joined Monahans in November 2025.

Having worked in both practice and industry, Sophie understands the day-to-day financial challenges businesses face. Her experience spans bookkeeping, payroll, year-end accounts and management accounts, with a particular interest in helping clients use regular financial information to better understand how their business is performing.

Sophie enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and becoming an extension of their team. By working closely with businesses each month or quarter, she gets to know how they operate, responds quickly to queries and provides practical support that makes day-to-day financial management that little bit easier.

Sophie holds an AAT qualification and an ICB Diploma in Payroll Management.

Outside work, Sophie enjoys settling down with a good book, baking and capturing moments through photography.
