Stephanie Buckley

Partner

Stephanie co-founded The Insolvency Company alongside Gareth and has built her career helping business owners overcome challenges and plan for the future. After studying Business at university and completing an MBA at the University of Exeter, she worked in a range of business advisory roles supporting start-ups, growing businesses and government-funded organisations. During this time she developed expertise in business planning, strategy, coaching and business development before bringing those skills into the insolvency profession.

Stephanie believes that businesses facing financial difficulty need more than technical advice. She enjoys getting to know each client’s story, understanding what has brought them to that point and helping them identify practical solutions that give them confidence to move forward. She is passionate about breaking down the stigma surrounding financial difficulties and empowering business owners to see new opportunities.

Alongside her business advisory expertise, Stephanie is a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) trainer. She uses these skills to help business owners improve communication, build confidence, set meaningful goals and stay motivated through periods of change.

Outside work, Stephanie is happiest on or near the water and can often be found paddleboarding with her family, their four children and the dog. She also has a keen interest in wellbeing and enjoys learning about holistic approaches that support personal development and resilience.
